Don't Mess With Texas!

Now I've heard it all. It seems that some legislators in Texas want schools to start weighing kids and including it on their report card.

When are schools going to actually do what they are supposed to do??? I suppose since the public schools in this country are a complete failure, they have to find other measures of success to justify their existance.

Do public schools even pretend to educate children anymore? It seems that their primary mission is to build self-esteem, propagandize children with secular humanism, and make children bow at the altar of diversity.

If public schools actually educated children, I wouldn't have such a dim view of the other crap that goes on there.
