Since when do we have a conservative Congress?

Rich Tucker wrote the following on Townhall.com...

"There’s no point in having a conservative Congress if it’s not going to work to enact conservative policies. At some point lawmakers have to be willing to take political risks to do what’s right."


Since when do we have a conservative Congress? Last I checked we had a Republican-controlled Congress. I'd bet less than 1/3 of Republican are conservative. The rest are either corporatist or just power hungry.

The idealist in me still hasn't died and probably never will
