Roy Blunt Has Disqualified Himself as Majority Leader of the House

Here is what Blunt had to say in today's Wall Street Journal:

"As readers of this page know all too well, excessive government regulation, taxation and spending strangle economic growth as frequently as runaway litigation and soaring health-care and energy costs do. What politicians say about these issues does not matter much, but what we do about them does. I'm proud of what House Republicans have accomplished on this front over the last several years, but I know that much remains to be done."

I'm not sure that I need to say anything about how ridiculous and patently false this statement is. The Republican House has been largely responsible for excessive government spending and pork spending. Roy Blunt doesn't seem to have a problem with this.
