Runaway Bride Bobblehead

Yes! You read that correctly!

From the Gwinnett Gladiators' website:
ANY SIMILARITY TO ACTUAL PERSONS IS UNINTENDED AND PURELY CONCIDENTIAL

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today the upcoming public release of an extraordinary one-of-a-kind promotional item on Sunday, March 5th when the Gladiators host Pensacola at 4:05pm.

The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a FREE special limited edition “Runaway Bride Any Similarity to Actual Persons is Unintended and Purely Coincidental” Bobblehead Doll. Doors open at the spectacular 11,000-seat Arena At Gwinnett Center (I-85 at Sugarloaf Parkway, where parking is always FREE), promptly at 3:00pm.

The “Runaway Bride Any Similarity to Actual Persons is Unintended and Purely Coincidental” Bobblehead Doll is the 3rd collectors-item statuette released by the Gladiators. Previous bobbleheads have depicted the team mascot “Maximus” and veteran team captain Cam Brown.

The head of the “Runaway Bride Any Similarity to Actual Persons is Unintended and Purely Coincidental” Bobblehead Doll is a standard-issue, off-the-shelf model, adorned in a lovely white tiara and veil.

The body of the “Runaway Bride Any Similarity to Actual Persons is Unintended and Purely Coincidental” Bobblehead Doll has been customized to feature a grey “I ? Duluth” sweatshirt and black exercise pants.

She is holding a bridal bouquet in one hand, and a generic bus ticket in the other inscribed with the letters “ABQ” – an acronym in obvious reference to “Any Brides Quandary” or “Another Big Question”. Her running shoes feature the fictitious trademark of the obscure take-off-brand manufacturer, “Adios”.

The base of the “Runaway Bride Any Similarity to Actual Persons is Unintended and Purely Coincidental” Bobblehead Doll features the Gwinnett Gladiators team logo and an inscription which reads, “World Famous Runaway Bride”.

The Gwinnett Gladiators continue the 2005-06 ECHL season at the Arena at Gwinnett Center on Friday, February 17th as they host the Florida Everblades at 7:35 p.m. The Gladiators offer several ticket packages for different needs as well as group outings, suites and birthday parties. For more information call 770-497-5100 or log on to gwinnettgladiators.com.

The Gladiators play all 36 home games at the Arena at Gwinnett Center located on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth and are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers.
